Some apprenticeships require you to attend college each week, while others are entirely work-based, but all include support from industry experts to make sure that you learn everything you need.

Do I have to cover the costs?
No. The cost of your apprenticeship is funded by the Government and your employer, so you there are no student loans or tuition fees.
You will be paid for your apprenticeship and are entitled to the apprentice rate if you are aged 16 to 18 or in the first year of your apprenticeship. Once you turn 19, or complete the first year of your apprenticeship, you will be entitled to the National Minimum Wage.
